Way back when…okay, I think it was 2011, I entered Kingdom A&S for the first time.  Everything I was trying was brand new to me, and I filled out my documentation on the pre-written documentation question sheets.  I had three entries.

I had begun making glass beads one year prior, and these were my most period ones.

I wove with craft wire, but managed to get it fairly even.  The wrapped stone was not period.

 My first tablet weaving had a gold-wrapped cotton thread, which was a horrible pain to work with and was not period.  I had started out trying to make a twist pattern, but that was way too hard for my first project.  I settled on the O link pattern below.

I was honoured by tying for first place for my tablet woven band in the beginner category with a lovely apple pie made by a young girl.
